Purple haze has a silvery purple colour in winter with silver cones at Christmas. Ideal for low maintenance, low water use gardens. Great cut flowers and a perfect addition to coastal gardens.
Mainly used for cut flowers. Plant in sandy/rocky soil.
Plant in well drained acidic soil. Water well to establish 1-2 years. Use a natural mulch low in phosphorus. Do not fertilize. Pick all flowers or cut back after flowering to maintain shape. In pots, water daily. Moderate frost tolerance once established, Coastal Conditions, Wind Tolerant
