Description

Features:

  • Variety: Each pack includes a mix of Early Perfection™ Blue, Pink, Purple, Red, and Rose seedlings.
  • Days to Maturity: Approximately 147 days from seed to bloom.
  • Growth Habit: Compact and upright mounding habit makes them ideal for small pots or window boxes.
  • Ideal Conditions: Thrives in dappled sunlight or partial shade with rich, well-draining soil that has a slightly acidic pH of 5.5 to 6.

Growing Instructions:

  1. Container Selection: Choose containers that are at least 2-3 inches deep with drainage holes. Recycled containers like yogurt cups can be used.
  2. Soil Preparation: Use fresh, sterile potting soil specifically designed for seedlings; avoid using garden soil or reused potting mixes.
  3. Planting the Seedlings: Place the seedlings in the prepared soil and moisten them gently. Cover with wet paper or a plastic dome to maintain humidity until germination occurs.
  4. Watering & Feeding: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Allow it to dry slightly between waterings and feed with liquid fertilizer regularly.
  5. Light Requirements: Ensure seedlings receive ample light (15 hours daily). If indoors, use south-facing windows or grow lights positioned just above the plants.
  6. Hardening Off: Gradually acclimate seedlings to outdoor conditions over a week by placing them outside in a sheltered area before transplanting into the garden.

Care Tips:

  • Maintain high humidity and cool temperatures (50° to 65°F) for optimal growth; avoid temperatures above 80°F as this can halt flowering.
  • Regular deadheading will encourage prolonged blooming and prevent unwanted self-seeding.
